Government jobs continued to grow in the majority of countries

Topping the list were Texas, containing a 77,600 Government employees of federal, State and local more today than in November 2006.

Millions of voters demanded a streamlining of the Government, but they remain largely unfulfilled.

Government jobs has actually increased in 30 States and the District of Columbia over the past five years, according to a study on a new number.

Other major Gainers were Virginia (up 29,500 government jobs in five years), Maryland (up 23,600), Tennessee (up 22,000) and Colorado (up 21,400).
