Small businesses have their eye on the iPad

Almost three-quarters of small businesses and medium-sized enterprise (SME) active size for a t to buy in the next year, and according to new report from the NPD Group, the iPad is leading the pack. These figures are derived from the quarterly report of NPD’s SMB technology Monitor, which regularly surveys the company spanning in size from 50 to 999 employees about their technology buying plans. And it looks like the t market will do well in business, such as 89 per cent of the “large” companies (those between 501 and 999 employees) in the market for a new t in the next 12 months.

According to NPD, 90 percent of all the SMES surveyed said they would spend the same amount or more on a t for 12 months, and the number of SMES with t purchase plans in the near future will be going up the quarter by quarter. Not surprisingly, small businesses have a lower likelihood of spending money on a t than large companies–the latter of which plans to spend $ 39,000 on t hardware in the next year.
