Federal prosecutors are preparing what will be the first criminal charges against BP employees toward Deepwater Horizon from 2010 in the Gulf of Mexico spill, reports The Wall Street Journal. An explosion and fire killed 11 workers and causing oil spill off the coast of the worst in the history of the United States. Prosecutors say focus on a few engineers based in Houston and at least one of their supervisors false information on BP may have provided to regulators about the risk of drilling in the Gulf of Mexico well. There was no Comment from the Justice Department.

Tax officials walking from Greece job today at the start of a 48-hour strike to protest pay cuts and other austerity measures. Greece’s Government struggling to meet revenue targets demanded by international creditors.
